My gosh how hadn't I listened to 'Get Naked' for over a year! blaring it now on this sultry humid evening.
They really are the holy trinity of albums, aren't they? FutureSex/LoveSounds, Loose, and Blackout. What I wouldn't give for three pop albums that amazing sometime again soon.
I've only just started spinning ...Baby One More Time the last few days and it's basically an awesome debut. I Will Be There is just beautiful. Also, Soda Pop is sort of fun, but clearly Autumn Goodbye should've taken its spot.

Britney's X Factor demands. Although no scented vanilla candles on the list so most likely fake...
http://www.contactmusic.com/news/bri...vealed_1331098Britney, who was recently announced as a judge, wants a number of demands met each week, including six cases of Diet Coke containing 24 cans, 12 vases of magnolia blossoms in her dressing room, 10 pieces of chicken and four pints of potato salad.
Homegirl also requires a beauty team which includes a personal manicurist, a facialist and a massage therapist.
Britney knows there's a lot of hard work coming up, but she's ready, and needs these essentials to kick ass.
A source said: ''Britney is well aware of what the critics are saying about her. She is anxious to prove to everyone that she isn't just a ditzy blonde and she is hunkered down with her fiance Jason, who will be with her at all times during the auditions and filming."
''Britney has been asking a lot of questions about the process and is seeking advice from Simon Cowell about how she can be the best judge possible.''
Auditions start tomorrow right? Will be interesting to see what people who are at the auditions say!
I assume the beauty team are simply there to pick the chicken skin out her nails and wipe the potato salad off her face. Maybe put a brush through her hair if they have time.
I've always found it scary/ironic that her best work, my favourite album (Blackout) was created during her breakdown when she was at her lowest. Every track on that album is single material.
I've got a fist full of love that's coming your way
The album literally has no filler material which is so refereshing for a Britney album. I'm still gutted that Break The Ice wasn't the first single, it would've been perfect. Well, as perfect as that era could have been, all things considered.
The reason I rate TCS:BS so highly is because of the Blackout performances. She seemed to put more effort into them. Especially Get Naked.
It wasn't, it was largely created before her breakdown when she was pregnant.
WE LIKE TO PARTAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY.
During the making of the album, I'm not sure if there's much evidence for her being in "a bad place". Watching footage from The M+M's Tour, she still looked very confident and happy at that point - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdE-ulljkNg
"Spit ya fluidest, Bitch..."
The chronology of 'the breakdown' is interesting. It kinda goes in waves. First it was the party phase that seemingly went a bit out of control, then she shaved her head, then she was forced into rehab, then she came out and had a bit of a good period with Ali sans Sam, then Sam got into the picture and it got really weird.
WE LIKE TO PARTAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY.
I also love the Britney album. I watched the 'Dream Within A Dream' tour the other day - flawless. I miss that Britney so much. Gutted that tour never came to the UK either! :(
I've got a fist full of love that's coming your way
I will never forget the day Britney shaved her head. Headlines everywhere (no pun intended). But the umbrella image also haunts me!
Just listened to 'Get Naked' for the first time in ages, eh it's not my favourite. Always thought it was a bit messy, prefer the next track 'Freakshow' !
Oh yes, I recently went back to In The Zone and it was a lot better than I thought it was.
I can take a few tracks from each of ITZ, Blackout, Circus and Femme Fatale and make a perfect Britney Spears electro-dance-pop album without sounding dated or scattered whatsoever.
VERY mature sounding. The progression between Britney-Blackout is fantastic. Then came Circus (which isn't THAT bad the track list is just shit) and she jumped cliff totally with Femme Fatale. Its shit.
