Britney's "America's Sweetheart" days ended when she split with Justin. You don't get to be 21 again, no matter how great you are on X-Factor.

Meet your new stepmom, kid.
Honestly, it'd just be nice if she came off as "funny, and surprisingly insightful."

I guess 12 (13?) years in music is a long run to not do much of anything else besides push out albums. But still. That's what I want from Britney...good music. This X-factor business had me yawning from the day the rumors started. I don't know how somebody can be that excited about it...after the "omg Britney's on national television every week" effect wears off, people will get bored as well.
I second Someboy! I'm not expecting anything phenomenal from this, but to see Britney speaking and interacting on a weekly basis does tickle my 'stan' bone a bit. I would like her to just be sweet and funny. I will cringe if she tries to attempt being witty or biting, not that she's not a witty person but that stuff is all in the delivery and I'm not sure if she can pull it off.
Was watching fighting game combo videos on youtube and came across my new favorite Britney remix
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*
Jamie's song to Britney:
That made me tear up :s
She is like a mirror image of Britney era Britney. I think it's the hair more than anything, as weird as that sounds!
'Britney' era was all abit 'middle of the road' despite delivering constantly brilliant singles.
"Ardent Rihanna mud-slinger"
She has horrible diction. What the fuck is she saying?
I'm surprised as to how little she sounds like (natural voice) Britney. I would have imagined she'd have a deep ...Baby album style tone.
Her voice reminds me of Ashlee Simpson...and I mean that in a good way because I love Ashlee's breathy, southern twang. But, yes, I agree with JadeFan her diction isn't that great.
She needs to release a Country Rock album and show these lessors how it's done.
Wow she looks so much like Britney 10 years ago.
I immediately thought of the first line of Just Yesterday (which Brit wrote for JL) when I heard this.
''Just yesterday, you were looking up to me''. It's kind of a sweet reply to that song.
