Demi needs to GO. Mid-season dropout maybe? She has no credentials, no hits, no standing in the music industry at ALL. Is she supposed to represent 'the X factor'? How can she? She even said it herself, she's practically a newborn in this business. Imagine Simon Fuller hiring Britney to do American Idol during her first album campaign. It's that stupid.

Even dumber. At least Britney's debut was a bona fide smash in every way.

Imagine if Britney, for instance, replaced Ceelo on The Voice. Britney and X-Tina battling it out. Talk about ratings. Adam and Blake ducking cover at either end of the panel.

I find it interesting how people use her "humbleness" as an excuse for so many of her short-comings, and actually praise that about her as if she hasn't a witchy bone in her sweet little Southern body...yet when she shows her attitude and acts, for lack of a better word, diva-ish or bitchy the same fans cheer her on and say "BITCHNEY" "ATTITUDENEY" etc.

Britney's a dynamic person you see, APC. She [is[/i] at heart humbled and sweet but, you don't get as far as she has done, or go through what she has done, without a bitchy streak. She rarely ever shows this side as opposed to, say, Madonna who plays up to it for the cameras, but it's there. In The Zone & Out All Night (and parts of Chaotic) was probably the closest we got to seeing it.

Trust me, I know Britney can be huge snot when she wants to be. I've seen it. But there are so many fans who genuinely think she's the quiet, shy girl in the back of the room who wouldn't hurt a fly. That's why her quietness during interviews and meeting people isn't "humble and shy" to me...it's just a fake facade because she's uncomfortable and/or doesn't want to be where she's at at the moment. I hate the "she's shy and humble" bullshit.

I feel sad for Demi...she can sing and dance better than Britney these days but she's going to get totally overshadowed. Oh well, it is what it is.

Britney is still a bit soft spoken but she is definitely coming out of her shell. This is very nice to see.

Oh yeah, I'd totally agree. Which is why all this 'oh, she's so damaged, wrap her in bubble wrap' stuff makes me guffaw so much. No she isn't. Her apathy comes from a place of ignorance, laziness and at times disrespect to her fans moreso than it does 'fragility'. She's shit in interviews because she bloody hates them, she's always been vocal about that.
