    Well, this makes sense...

During X Factor auditions in Austin, Texas, last week, Britney Spears abruptly left the judge's table several times as contestants continued to perform and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the real reason why the pop singer did so -- Brit has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and can't take medication for it.

As previously reported, Spears stepped up and delivered the drama last Thursday, ripping Simon Cowell during auditions after he trashed one contestant. "You are so RUDE, Simon," Britney snapped at her boss, setting the tone for what we will surely be seeing much more of in season two.

"Britney was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in her teens and used to take medication for it," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. "The medication helped her deal with it, however, she can't take it now because it interferes with the other medications she takes for her mental health issues. Britney's current team of doctors strictly prohibit her from taking Adderall or Ritalin, which are commonly given to people with ADHD.

"Simon was made fully aware of Britney's medical history before the contract was signed, so this certainly isn't a big surprise that she needs to take breaks during the audition process. Look, Britney basically has the attention span of a 10-year-old at times. It's not alarming to Simon at all and he is fully supportive of Britney doing whatever she needs to do during filming."

According to the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Association, about 8 million adults suffer from the disorder and symptoms include overall restlessness, poor sustained attention to tasks and impaired impulse control.

"Britney's medical team works with her to deal with her disorder without medication and daily vigorous exercise is what often works best for Britney. Her nutrition is closely monitored and so is her caffeine intake, because that can also enhance Britney's inability to focus. Simon knew what he was dealing with before he ever signed her to join the show and it's not shocking to him. Of course, it's rather disconcerting for people that see her do it for the first time but it's truly nothing to be alarmed at. In fact, Simon would have been surprised if she hadn't taken breaks during judging last week, this means she is involved and engaged in the process," the insider says.
Not even remotely surprising, I never realized it myself, but now alot of things make sense.

If I say I have an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder... would you hold it against me?

If that's true, how is she going to sit through a 2 hour live show every week?

  5. #24405
Radaronline? They haven't posted anything that is remotely true.

Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

Ahhh, imagine the Britney vs. Christina battles that could've took place at the height of their "hatred"!

It's hard to remember though, to be quite honest.

Searching for Britney topics in the old Usenet groups through "Google Groups" is very interesting. This post is from 1999.... sounds familiar?!

"All who hate Britney, raise your hands. If she didn't have to show off
her thick girth every second, didn't have that tired look and fake
smile, could dance instead of looking like a chubby herky-jerky robot
trying to keep it's balance on the ice, could actually sing, and would
stop pretending that her chubby fat was powerful...the same way Oprah
does, I might start liking her...NOT! And she had implants/hurt her
    knee/just getting all grown up because she's a big girl...she's a creap!"

This whole Britney/X Factor thing is AMAZING. The audio clips had me bawling... it's so scripted but it's perfect. I especially loved the 'wake me up in the morning' one, that was actually strange to hear Britney's personality coming out. The press attention surrounding the walk off is just ridiculous; it shows how stupid they really are. They don't listen to, or regard, ANYTHING else but that one measly rumour that she was pissed off or that she's having another breakdown. I mean, really?

Not the 20th Century stan wars.

Not them using Geocities for receipts.

Not Christina being dragged for filth from the very, very beginning.

I'm died. They weren't ready for Bionic.

Ok I went to a Used CD shop over the Weekend and I listend to Her album
and a few words came to mind. Britney Spears Clone! They both sound a
like! Same Song Style and everything. I decided not to buy it and infact
I even traded in my Britney Promo copy and got the Import Single for
"Beautiful Stranger". Love it!!! I also saw her Video "Genie in a
Bottle" and She and Britney even Dance a like.I swear they must have
gone to the Same School of Dance. I'm sorry I'm trying to see whats so
Hot about her and still can't see it! Same goes for Britney now. I will
say they are both cute with that little powt they do, but thats about
it! Now on MTV today I saw this new Teen Singer, Blond, Very Attractive
even if she is Jail bait. I think her name was Jennifer something. Not
really sure. Haven't heard her sing yet thought, but she is really
pretty! I figured that she probably sounds like Britney and Chrisina.
Plus she has that tight tummy unlike Britney and Christina have. They
have that little pop belly to them. They need to do some Ab exercises.
The one major thing I will say for all of them that I am proud of and
thats that they aren't Anorexicly Skinny. like Many of these Singers are
going at nowadays. Jennifer Lopez for example. I love Women with some
meat on their Bones! I will also say that I do think that they will not
last 5 years at the most unless they chage their Look and Sound, or
should I say If they Pull a Madonna and if they do they better come up
with something or they will end up like Debbie (Debroah) Gibson and
Tiffany and end up on VH1's Where are They Now? Show. LOL! anyway Just
wanted to let out my 2 Cents. ahhhh thats feels much better!
