@esteveyb- Its obvious by now that you have one rule that applies to Christina and one that applies to everyone else.

As for diva rumours for Mary J. and Mariah? How is that at all relevant to their personalities?
Ha, are you fucking kidding me? So the diva rumours about Christina automatically mean she is a bitch but the diva rumours about other artists have nothing to do with their personalities? And I like how you had to reference an interview that is nearly 10 years old as evidence of Christina's 'bitchiness', I mean, talk about desperate. And I'm sure Christina wearing an outfit "two sizes two small" was a perfectly legitimate reason to call Christina a 'bitch' live on national television.

She mentioned Gwen having bought Kingston around for Sean and Jaydens birthday here and he's been pictured on playdates with Brit, Sean and Jayden so, I'm assuming...

It's so sad how depressed she is in this interview. Dead behind the eyes. And again, playing with her fingers. It must be something to do with a nervous disposition.

Her eyelids are too fat, someone get this whale of a woman to the nearest bootcamp.

Interesting read...I had no idea it went on for so long!
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

I think the word that is describing you right now is 'pressed', sorry to say - you can choose to believe whatever you wish to believe, but the evidence just continues building that she is, and has always been, an unlikeable personality who has always been threatened by her peers. Bringing up 'diva' rumours that are 99% based on 'demands' from riders that they almost certainly had little to do with in comparison to how someone speaks to, or about, her peers, etc. just emphasises this - the interview also just shows that nothing seems to have changed in 9 years.

Either way, your continual denial about her doesn't change the fact that I was pointing out in comparison to the star of this thread, the one and only Ms. Britney Spears.

I think what I have proved is that the evidence is sparse, hence why you are referencing 10 year old interviews to prove your point. You say that Britney was 'totally different' in person to what the public perception of her is but refuse to believe that Christina could also be different in reality to the public perception of her and instead say she is "is and always has been an unlikeable personality". There is no other way to describe you but small minded.

I really do hope Britney teams up with Gwen musically some day. I've always thought their voices were a bit similar. Imagine them sharing "When You Gon' Pull It".
The funny thing is this is Britney's second video with a horse, the first being Me Against The Music

I want Gwen to write for Britney, featuring production from Nellee Hooper and Tony Kanal.

I love going back to that video now and again but it's so sad watching it. How can someone go from that to what she is now? It's like two different people.

  10. #23810
I think Gwen and Britney would sound good on the right track. They can both purr like the best of them.

The difference is, Gwen also has the ability to absolutely sing the shit out of something. If you listen to certain tracks on Tragic Kingdom it literally sounds like she's singing for her life. So much emotion.
    "Spit ya fluidest, Bitch..."

Shit, why did I watch that video? It was funny but it was mostly just sad.

I think it's a bit undeniable though that Christina is unlikable. She can be as shy as she wants, but how she actually is doesn't change the overall public opinion and view of her. Even Britney has spoken on things, as we hopefully haven't forgot the interview where Britney said Christina tried french kissing her in a club and then called Christina a "dark" person. Or even P!nk, who has praised Britney on numerous occasions, being blunt on Christina's poor attitude and negative personality. Someone just doesn't beat up a blow-up doll version of you on stage, multiple times, for no reason.

Oh my god, that video message for the fans from the X17 thing was HILARIOUS. Like half of me wanted to cry but the other half was just laughing.

Sparse? Really? That interview from late 2003 (which isn't even 9 years old until October this year) is just ONE of many; I could go through Google for you and post all of the Bionic interviews, or the Keeps Getting Better interviews, or some of the press snippets for The Voice (or the articles that say she is self-important, arrives two hours late, has been called a 'fucking cunt' by Adam Levine, etc.) if you want more recent 'material'. I think it's fairly obvious to everyone on here that you could meet Christina, have her punch you and call you a cunt, and you'd still defend her and find excuses, as you quite obviously think she was a reincarnation of Jesus on earth. No one is saying she's a "bitch" 100% of the time, but even if these are isolated incidents, there's enough of them to suggest that that it's not a one-off 'bad day' thing.

An, actually, whilst we are on the subject, the supposed public perception of Britney that she's "cold and robotic" is actually news to me. "Robotic" yes, "dead behind the eyes" maybe, but certainly not "cold". You also fail to acknowledge that this is a recent development from some of the few live interviews she has done since late 2008 - she doesn't come across as any of those things in For The Record, and she didn't come across as any of those things for the bulk of her 13 year career. Even now, even when she seems nervous and robotic in live interviews, "sweet, humble and nice" are words that are bandied around when describing her. From producers to fans to photographers to interviewers to her peers, even to The Wanted (whom you have a bee in your bonnet about), the consensus that was established in 1999 doesn't seem to have radically altered.

For X Factor, are contestants allowed to cover songs done by the judges?

Just cause the thought of an "Everytime" cover possibly done due to Britney's presence is kind of amazng.

It'd be a crime if she doesn't get the girls category.
"She's the next Madonna, but better" - Katy Perry when meeting Lady Gaga.

I just came to read something about Britney but I see someone still doesn't get how this is General discussion about Britney Spears and not ''Christina Aguilera is a *itch and Britney is a saint''.

In other news I can't wait to hear first news from audition about her and how she handled things. That will be interesting.
˝She is a sexy, bionic woman, and every damn one of you will deal as she shits on your faves.˝ BEST FICTION.

  17. #23817
Britney will be given the category with strongest contestants.

  18. #23818
I wonder if and when they get to a Demi vs Britney final, they decide to replicate the X Factor UK's idea of the contestant singing live with the mentor?

    Oh, wait...
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

I think we know by now Britney's not ashamed to mime under any circumstances. It's whether Simon would let her or not, as I'm sure he'd actually love her to perform with a contestant.

  20. #23820
Of course she'd mime. She's been on stage with other artists before who were singing live. Madonna, Christina, Nicki, Rihanna, etc.But it wouldn't matter, everyone's used to it!

  21. #23821
I wonder if she doesn't feel pathetic whenever she performs with people singing live while she's miming. I know I'd feel ashamed of myself.
    Boobs boobs boobs

  22. #23822
I'm sure she's fine. She's Britney Spears, she's proven herself.

  23. #23823
I'm curious to see how she will react when the judges get into their little (staged?) tussles over certain contestants. Will she defend her own contestants or just sit there? I can't see her being harsh to other categories though, it's not really in her nature.

Oh and an 'Everytime' cover would be amazing, it's easily one of her best and most underrated songs.

  24. #23824
I really can't see her getting all competitive. But I've always thought the competition between the judges was ridiculous anyway. Like they're suddenly supposed to be "against" the other talent? Ridiculous. I think she'll handle it just right.

At what stage? At auditions they frequently perform the judges songs, I don't think they've ever done it in the Live Shows, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did, especially if she were to perform that week
