By the way - and I know this is totally at odds with everything - but did/will anything happen with that 'Twister Dance' advert she filmed a couple of months back?
The capital 'E' means I'm 'bout that life.

  2. #25627
Pretty sure they're waiting to release it coincide w/ X Factor

  3. #25628
Yeah, the game itself doesn't come out until fall so they'll probably release it around then, most likely during X Factor.

On this forum, just because someone isn't saying nice things about your favorite popstar isn't an excuse to throw out personal insults. How Archville is spending his time has nothing to do with why Britney can't perform anymore.

Saying thats not what he gets paid to do is a fact, not an insult.

And the little argument was hours ago- I'm long over it. As I'm sure he is. So why don't you move on as well.

No. In no cases is 'artist x being good/shit at y' a unanimous decision. If we're going to play 'who's opinion counts most' here, let's weight yours up to Britney's earnings from Femme Fatale tour, shall we?

No, we shan't, because that's fucking stupid.

Because, lezzzz be honest, if it was all about the MUSIC, we would be calling ourselves IndieJustice.
    I beg your pardon?

I think it does when he posts in a certain thread 3 trillion times saying the same hysterical things. See also Gaga thread.

Oh yeah, they're shit performers too. Rihanna can sometimes come through when she isn't acting like a glorified stripper and Katy (very rarely) has an OK one but yeah, both shit.

The ignore button is your friend.

She can judge whoever she wants, she's sold million of records, just like we can judge her and we haven't sold any records. Whether or not you believe she can legitimately judge anyone is really by the by, she's on it and she's doing it and people will watch in droves. I await her musical comeback because I like to get my slut on to her music, and she's great for the gym or a party.

Have you seen Rihanna and Ke$ha at a live concert? I found them both to be fantastic.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

So much negativity around her - *insert X Factor gif of that delilliional Michael Lewis from X Factor UK.

Every popular popstar has crazy fans, so let's not make out Britney is the only one to have them. You do get fans that do buy a few copies of an artist's music but to think they are the sole people who BUY it all is crazy.

Anyhow, hopefully time away from music will make Britney have more passion in her career. Music is still there, as are the videos and her personality is becoming more visible. Hopefully her dancing will be much on point.

Please stop comparing Britney to Rihanna and Katy and her lessers.

Britney can't dance now because she is on HEAVY medication. Antidepressants and mood stabilizers.

Britney went berserko because there was SOOO MUCH negative energy projected at her even by her own fans such as in this thread. She was literally bullied into insanity.

Britney could dance like a fucking tornado at one point. She was THE BEST pop performer.

    Rihanna et al NEVER could.

You, nor I, have no idea of Britney's medical history, as we shouldn't. But yes, it is a testament to Britney that we're comparing her in her current 10% effort form, to the best selling female artists today at their peak.

I rate Britney higher than I could ever rate the likes of Rihanna/Katy/Ke$ha/Gaga/Nicole. Yes, she can't dance anymore and her she sings like a Dalek doing karaoke...but her pop music is supremely confident. She always delivers. Her pop persona isn't confused as to what it wants to be. She's Britney and she makes pop music. She isn't here to save gays from a life of misery at the hands of the cruel homophobes. Radio is vastly improved by her presence and so are the music stations on television. Good will goes a loooooooong way. It would be nice for Britney to make an effort, but she's on pills and meds, we can't expect a fully engaged performer and I've never been a fan of performing seals anyway.

It's obvious what her problems are and what she's on. If you've been paying attention like I have it will become clear. :)

Another good thing about Britney is that she isn't utterly vile and unlikable like Rihanna is for being a drunk idiot who does songs with her abuser and Katy is for being a fakey sellout. Britney doesn't have the gross qualities her peers do.

I hear from my friend who is Larry Rudolph's neighbor's hairdresser that Britney is on synthetic heroine. That must be it. (The sad thing is, I really DID hear this from said friend....oh L.A)
The funny thing is this is Britney's second video with a horse, the first being Me Against The Music

  18. #25643
I think the real story behind Britney is probably more fascinating that we'll ever know. But I doubt we'll ever know it.

    She's my synthetic heroine.

I think you mean heroin. Which is methadone. I don't think she's on methadone.

  20. #25645
Apparently it's a non-heart affecting, non methadone, or heroin, heroin substitute. Who knows. It just cracks me up because every hair stylist in L.A has the scoop on what's in Britney's medicine cabinet, yet very few of them can manage to make her hair look decent.

Everyone thinks they are a qualified psychiatrist when it comes to Britney. This level of scrutiny, hyper-analysis and judgement isn't a consequence of her being so closed off in Post-Blackout interviews, it's the very cause of it.

She's still one of the most engaging singers in pop when it comes to her music and her videos. People who claim that she's "no longer relevant" obviously need to take a seat, given that the media, public and members of this forum are still as fixated on her every move as they were when she started out.

  22. #25647
She's absolutely still relevant. I just don't like her as much as I once I did.

Not only is she still incredibly relevant, but her debut single has left a huge impression on the world that still reverbs today.

In the UK OCC 'Nation's Favourite Number 1 Single' poll that is being revealed, ...Baby One More Time is in the top ten, alongside Adele's Someone Like You, Kylie's Can't Get You Out Of My Head and Whitney's I Will Always Love You. Not a single Madonna song made the top ten, despite her rank of number ones here, and she's included alongside ABBA, Queen, The Beatles, John Lennon, Michael Jackson and Oasis.

Waits for someone to say crazy Britney stans voted like mad...

This video just popped up in my youtube feed. It's funny that you sometimes lose perspective on just how amazing she used to be.

Of course I am... I'm traumatized...
