Oh it needed its own topic! I am obsessed with this show!

Currently halfway through the season 1 boxset and watching season 2 on TV. Will watch season 3 when its finished as well.

It's so well written and so clever. Love it!

One of my favourite television shows. I love Jenna, her singing Muffin Top, the Pizza song and her contribution to Midnight Train To Georgia are just amazing. The Rural Juror was a brilliant episode.

In the episode where Jenna is providing the voice for a pornographic video game and says 'ohhh....touch my feet with your knees' and 'TOUCH. MY. BUTT' in a robot voice I was in tears. I was absolutely howling with laughter! I'm lolling as I type.

Best show on television right now. It's like Arrested Development if Arrested Development were, well, funny, instead of being so enamored with its own cleverness.
    SEXY SOPHIE SHOWS HER GROOVEJET

Best use of guest stars in a TV show since.................well EVER.

Oprah, Jennifer Aniston, Steve Martin, Jon Hamm all in season 3

    ALL HILLARIOUS.

Oprah should do a sitcom, and Gail can be her wacky friend across the hall. And Steadman can be a recurring character. And Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil would be regular characters. And Tina Fey could write it.

I'm sure Oprah is well able to take the piss out of herself.

Actually, I doubt she is, but that Tina got on the show is still several shades of amazing.

The best guest star they ever did for me was Whoopi in season one (I think - could be two) when she did Work Out With Whoopi and then at the end when she was endorsing the meat product thingy - GENIUS.

I've only watched episode one of season 3 thus far so i'm really looking forward to the DVD release later this year. I only discovered the show randomly last year in Times Square they were playing it on the TV screens in Virgin and I found myself just standing there watching it so I went and just bought the season 2 boxset (which was what they were playing at the time) and loved it and got the season 1 boxset about two days later.

Boo. We don't even have the season 2 boxset in the UK yet. It's out in May!

I've downloaded the Oprah episode so I can see what all the fuss is about. will watch it later!

I suppose May isn't too long now, but I imagine the season 3 boxset will be out in the U.S September/October just import it from Amazon - it used to work out much cheaper for me for DVD boxsets (when the exchange rate was good).

The rural juror has a limited release this week :)

The Whoopi one is the one with the compressed food yes, two short cameos by Whoopi but it stole that show for me.

I watched the pilot episode of 30 Rock when it first started and I was bored senseless by it. Did I jump to conclusions about it too early? I've heard a lot of good things about it since, I'm considering giving it a second chance.

PS: Whoopi has a cameo? Amazing.
Left the cake out in the rain. Still going to eat it. Fuck you.

The first season was a bit shit really. It starts to hit its stride a few episodes into the second season.

I've started watching the other day and now I'm at episode #11, first season.
It really is hilarious, there are not many comedy shows that made me laugh out loud as much as 30 Rock.
I'd love to know how much of it and what exactly is based on her experiences from "Saturday Night Live".
