Not sure how I feel about the record being called Spandex on the Distant Horizon? Could be interesting!
It's been a couple of weeks, so how about a new Ke$ha song? Featuring our very own Lady Lloyd, apparently!
It's actually quite good, apparently this is a recent enough recording.
So she really is going for that "rock 'n roll" theme. Okay...
What the hell.
I love it (obviously). I do think its incredibly catchy. If i'm not invited to be in the video if there is one there is serious trouble!
This is CV intro material Lady Lloyd! ''As mentioned by Ke$ha on her track...''
This by the way confirms that Ke$ha is the best popstar ever.
I like that song. She does seem quite shouty on it though.

I'm going to make a prediction that this will be a bonustrack on the deluxe edition of the new album.
But this is wonderful, Lloyd. Well done!
Annie, if you're reading this...please know that I want your EP right now!
Oh, I actually kinda like it. It's not single material though, and I actually she hopes she'll have some more alternative weird stuff on the album and stuff like the Harold's song showing her vulnerable introspective side.. but as an album track this is good.
I have quite big hopes for this album tbh.
Not sure why she tweeted that Pretty Lady was old though. It features Detox iCunt too, who, I think, tweeted something about it in March when it was recorded.
Another song called "Woo Hoo" leaked in a low quality. More "hit-focused" yet still hard. I could see it being a good lead single, but I'd have to wait to hear the HQ to leak.
I can't stop listening to "Pretty Lady" haha! It's actually really good. Still not sure about it being a lead-single though, and it's not "ground-breaking" by any means, but it's different enough from the rest out there and it differs from her older stuff without taking away "her" on it.
Love when she screams in the chorus. Even if it's not going to be a single, I hope it still be included on the album.
As for "Woo Hoo" it's too LQ to have much of an opinion on, the verses are kinda meh (just sounds like what she's done a trillion times already), but the rest seems to be kinda promising (well whatever u can hear from it).
I doubt Pretty Lady is the lead single.
I do like it though. Very catchy, and obviously a plus that it features Lady Lloyd.
Leaving out hideous expressions like 'Kelendria' (who even is that?) would be a good start. - Someboy re: Kelly Rowland's birth name
Pretty Lady sounds amazing, especially the screaming. One of the great things about Ke$ha is the seemingly endless supply of demos floating about the internet, how many tracks can one girl record?
Pretty Lady isn't meant as the lead single, I believe. I do like that she put her money where her mouth was after tons of people started to call her usage of the word "tranny" and drag queens in her videos as just using them to be "weird" or as offensive. In reality, Detox and them all are her friends.
Fuck, "Pretty Lady" reminded me how much I miss Ke$ha's music. I really hope her new stuff has her straying further away from the "Tik Tok / We R Who We R / Your Love is a Drug" formula she got somewhat branded under and more into the more offbeat stuff she's so good at.
She is, by a significant margin, the best of the current "chart pop" entertainers (I hate that word). I like her lots.
Besides the music itself, what about Kesha is entertaining? Surely not her performances(why can I not think of a single Kesha performance? Has she ever been at an award show?), interviews or fashion sense.
EDIT: Oh she does have some truly entertaining music videos, I will admit that; though to call her more entertaining than Lady Gaga or Rihanna on a good day just seems naive.

I think the key word is entertainer. People like Britney and Rihanna, and somewhat Katy, are entertainers because they still perform despite lacking any kind of real musical ability like a strong voice or skill at dancing. Ke$ha fits into this too, but has a charisma that shells like Britney and Rihanna lack. There is an irreverence that Britney is too dead inside and Rihanna too robotic to ever capture. All that leaves is Katy, and, well, I find Ke$ha's "eff it" attitude and fun show more entertaining than Katy emphasizing her assets - not her voice - for an hour or so.
It's not entirely perfect, but the Billboard Awards performance is still a great sign of what she can do as a popstar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDb9tFVEIBA
All that leaves is Katy Perry? I think you're skipping over a certain someone with horns, a blonde pony tail and hooves. (and I'm not talking about Madonna's reflection in the mirror)
I do enjoy Ke$ha, but I really can't see her peak being anything more than what she's already achieved. If this new era is a big event, I will be thoroughly shocked. She's got some good songs, but I already feel like her time has passed.

Pretty Lady's alright, nowhere near as good as anything off Cannibal though.
I love Ke$ha, she's the popstar you can ALWAYS count on for amazing, amazing songs. She acts like she doesn't give a fuck, but you know that she's so well aware and so on point with everything she does. I'm not saying she's the best popstar of them all (Cher Lloyd is), but she's absolutely brilliant nonetheless. There's very little bad I can say about her.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*
