I'm so fucking done with these 5 assholes. After all the bitching, moaning, whining, complaining, struggling and God knows what else - a Christmas album?! Fuck. Off. Just go home and take care of your kids instead of teasing everyone and deciding to go with a crap ass Christmas album. Infuriated doesn't even begin to describe how I feel with these idiots right now.

I was all about the first Sky Living series and went to the tour and enjoyed the whole thing, but if they're not gonna release any new glossy pop then they really should've ended on the high of the tour rather than dragging it out with this infuriating second series and the threat of a Christmas album... ugh.

Christmas album? Are they having a fucking laugh? For people so concerned about their 'legacy', they seem all too keen to fucking piss all over it. I mean, Step One. Steptacular.Buzzz. Steps Christmas?

As Margaret Thatcher once said: No! No! No!

Right?! They're such fucking fools. I'm sure the reasoning is that they can just record a little cash-in Christmas EP without having to do shit and then go home, but still...it's like a slap in the damn face.

Last night was Faye's turn to be a bit mental. Seems like they're on a rota.

Producer: "This week you act irrational, next week Claire, then Lisa, then..."
Lisa: "Claire before me? I think I should be next. Before I return to Dubai. I live there, y'know."

  7. #5032
Hey guys! Can one of you tell me where Lisa lives? I'm not too sure...

Also they split up when? What night? On that one tour, right at the end, right?
In the name of the Mother, the Daughter, and the Holy Spearit, AMEN.

  8. #5033
Did they split in a nice way?
    Is Claire fond of fondue?

  9. #5034
I dread to think how this xmas album would do, MVNL is the only person I've seen say its a good idea. The vast majority are on the "are they for fucking real" bus.

The problem is, it's not okay as a first endeavor into their rebanding, nor for their hopes of being successful. Almost every bit of apprehension they have about releasing new material is hinged on "I don't to leave my life now for a risk on something that may not work..." It's a fucking Steps Christmas album! Of course it's not going to fucking work. Are they complete idiots? Are they really so thick as to think THIS is okay, but releasing a modern-day, Steps dance album would be asinine? Where is the logic? This is going to be laughed at and plummet, and they're going to get the impression that nobody wants "new Steps", when in fact, nobody wants a Steps Christmas album. Do they not understand that there are millions of people wanting a proper new album? Do they think they have about 6 fans left? Have I made myself fucking clear?!

Maybe it's been misconstrued and 'an album for Christmas' means an album out for Christmas.

I think Lee and H have been really quite reasonable this show; the lack of kids evidently makes their choices easier for the time being. H has been especially likeable and balanced.

Claire's husband seems to have an agenda (once again, selective editing is likely to blame), but every time he appears he's practically waving cake in front of her face and reminding her how stressed she used to be.

Maybe they are going for a cheese-tastic Christmas no.1?! I'm not fussed about a Christmas album. It's as lazy and naff as just throwing out a general covers album.

I feel the need to defend him a bit, because we're forgetting that its his kids and his wife.
Obviously the editing makes him look as if he's anti Steps and wants to lock her up and not let her see daylight, but its quite the opposite really, its down to him that she came back from obscurity in the first place.

Obviously he's privy to a lot more information than we'll ever know, and what goes on when the cameras aren't around.

You didn't hear me say that!
I just said I'll happily take anything we can get out of this over 'just split up again'.

If I were him, I'd be very angry with the producers of the show portraying him like a proverbial spanner in the works.

He was really funny in the 2 shows Claire's done on her own. This whole series has been so dramatic, almost over the top with the constant harking back to December 21st 2001. They've made out that its like a daily thing they discuss.

I'm with seanie on this one and believe Reece to be a nice guy who just genuinely cares for Claire and without him she wouldn't be back on board at all it's just editing - they can't even edit the fucking tour in the correct song order never mind anything else! Faye tweeted this morning that everything's happier than it comes across on sky

That annoyed me, they had the fake finale, then jumped back to the ballads then abit of Deeper shade of blue thrown in somewhere then Tragedy.

I don't understand why they didn't do it in the right order? It wasn't as if it was horrific set list that didn't work.

The show reminds me of what Smash Hits magazine had become before it closed down:
WE WILL MAKE EVERYTHING SO EASY AND PLAIN SO EVERYONE UNDER 5 GETS IT.

They've not reminded us where Lisa lives for nearly 2 weeks. She must have moved back and its not as interesting to start every sentence with LISA, WHO NOW LIVES IN WINDSOR WITH HER HUSBAND AND TWO CHILDREN.

Oh for fucks sake, a christmas album? Absolutely shameless.

I'm still hoping that in one of the future episodes it's going to say, "Lisa, who was once B List on Capital.."

  23. #5048
    Lisa, who launched 3SL....

  24. #5049
I think it'll just be an idea that was thrown out there and the daily star saw the preview and latched onto it! I actually enjoyed last nights episode as it showed them pissing about a bit, e.g lisa in the luggage thing and then 'Claire Richards is underweight" 'not what the mail says' it should be more of a comedy programme than a drama!

Not sure if this has been posted but the exclusive content from the Live! CD is up http://www.concertlive.co.uk/StepsVIP You hear studio version clips of Dubstep Deeper Shade Of Blue, Judas, & all the solo's seems to have studio version except Lisa's.
