I love it!
The songs like the same old drivel again.
Her voice sounds nice, but the song itself is passable at best.
I don't care if this is a proper single or not. All I know is that it's shit.
I like the first track and "Mirrors" but the rest seem to be mostly rambling, weak-tuned, repetitive, overlong, retro affairs like "Suit & Tie".
Translation: None of the individual songs are much cop.
I completely agree! Most of her truly fantastic songs have been tucked away near the end of her albums.
Those aren't particularly deep songs. They're excellent songs, but truly deep or introspective? No.
The "deep" songs in her career are Petals, Outside, The Wind, Looking In and Sunflowers for...
What on earth is she wearing? It's like something my aunt would've worn to a wedding in 1988.
Much better than I was expecting. Good stuff!
Nice song, but fairly unremarkable.
The album cover is dire. Could it BE any less imaginative? Everything about it is beyond banal.
Utter nonsense. You have my pity.
Very well said. The guy has a wonderful voice that literally drips with soul and emotion. And yet somehow that's a bad thing to many in here. Dear oh dear.
The guy has talent, a hell of a lot more than Cardle. Extremely good voice and very likeable, unlike Cardle. Shame about the feeble song though.
Uh...yes, the production on "On The Metro" is decent, but the melody is so, so flat. That's what made their best material stand out.
Bigtime. "Something New" has the old magic, but the other new tracks are really, really feeble.
It isn't? I can't really imagine much worse.
It's just alright. I'm really disappointed with all the new stuff other than "Something New".
Oddly enough, the two songs you mention actually made me keep going. They're really good.
