  1. Re: Ella Henderson - Chapter One (Album) + "Ghost" (First single)

The Oliver Nelson Remix is incredibly good! The chorus especially sounds brilliant, I hope the original track lives up to it.

Pretty uneventful.. The snappy editing of the preview suited the song much better. The song sounds like a good idea but I still think it's missing something, and the way it just fades out is pretty...

    Re: Florrie.

It's the idea that "releasing all those songs four years ago really generated a buzz around Florrie, let's do it again but with sub-par material" that baffles me. It doesn't make any sense.

The video for Free Falling is coming tomorrow. It's the last track/video featured in the Sirens YouTube preview.

I got sent the full EP last week and after having lived with it for a while - it's...

Oh dear lord this is more of a car crash than I imagined it would be. Why is she in a bathing suit?! Drunk poolside karaoke in Gran Canaria vibes.

I've passed that clip of Mollie's bum note around the whole office today. Just brilliant.

She looks like a fish. No need for those lips! Maybe they're trying to tap into the Del Rey-market.
  9. Re: Margaret Berger - New Religion (3rd Studio Album).

Here it is on SoundCloud in higher quality:

She'll be performing it in tomorrow's MGP final in Norway. She didn't mention New Religion at all in...

Look What You've Done will be premiering alongside Margaret's new single on that show today, yes! What a brilliant day for pop.

'Scream' premieres today on the Norwegian radio show Christine on NRK P3 between 12pm and 2pm UK time!

    Re: Say Lou Lou

Hmmm. It's good, but it doesn't blow me away. It all sounds so polished and perfect that it just becomes a bit boring. Sometimes I find myself wanting more substance and edge from them.
  14. Re: Margaret Berger - New Religion (3rd Studio Album).

I agree that she should have got the album out as soon as possible after Eurovision last year - but once it got delayed (for whatever reasons) there's a pretty fair reason she's waited until now. All...
  15. Re: Margaret Berger - New Religion (3rd Studio Album).

The new single will be out on March 13th! I just heard a clip and it sounds really good - it's more mid-tempo than both 'I Feed You...' and 'Human Race', but it sounds big.

    Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2014

One of Norway's 15 contenders - this is excellently dark and Margaret Berger-like, but I have a feeling it won't win:

The new mix sounds great, and they all look fantastic. Mollie in particular, woah! I have to agree on the dancing though - the routine looks cheap and incredibly half-arsed. 6 years since their debut...

Maybe "hype" was a strong word to use, but there was a certain level of buzz around Live A Little (300k ++ views for the video ain't bad) that could easily have been followed up by well.. something.

I think it's silly that for whatever reason the bit of hype she got last year with Live A Little wasn't built upon at all. That's a completely missed opportunity there. She was recording drums "for...

^If I remember correctly Miranda Sings has been around since 2008 (if not longer!), so this was way before shrill/big/WAAHHWAAHH Nicola was unleashed on us.
