Re: Lena Meyer-Landrut - Crystal Sky

The vinyl pressing is gorgeous (and comes on clear vinyl too).
Beat To My Melody & Crystal Sky should be the next singles.

4 plays in, think this is my album of the year so far...
(I've preordered the vinyl for that exact reason Tiger Suit).

Re: Lena Meyer-Landrut - Crystal Sky

The Girl, Traffic Lights, Beat To My Melody, We Roam, Crystal Sky & Catapult are all stand outs on first listen.
Everything else might need a few more plays.

Re: Lena Meyer-Landrut - Crystal Sky

The album previews all sound brilliant, and 'We Roam' (the German pre-order track from the album) is amazing.
Really excited for this. (He says, ironically, with an Ellie avatar in situ).

As Far As I Could Get is far and away my favourite so far this era. There's something quite Tango In The Night/Fleetwood Mac'y about it to these ears.

    Re: Say Lou Lou

The vinyl has arrived (and is stunning) - the amount of static the sleeve generates makes it a nightmare to try and get the LP out though!
Hard For A Man remains the highlight for me.

Vinyl has been dispatched. So excited.
The album has definitely been worth the wait - what a debut.
I just really wish Fool Of Me or Better In The Dark replaced Games For Girls.

    God that is stunning.
Anf, I think the 'blip' is intentional. Like the stopping of the recording, opposed to a corrupt file (I re-listened to it a few times last night).
    Both the deluxe tracks are...

    Charted at #17.
Not bad all in all, considering the mess this 'campaign' has been.

I ranked every single one of the 59 Nerina-penned tracks, and the 1 Kate Bush cover that she's released through the entire year. It's probably of interest to precisely no-one, but regardless, if you...

Re: Laura Marling - Short Movie

I'm sad to say that I'm not enamoured with it, but Laura's lead singles always tend to be my least favourite from their respective albums.

Re: Oh Land - Earth Sick (4th Album)

I'm a little bit disappointed with the album, if I'm honest.
Maybe it needs a few more listens? Certainly nothing as wonderful as Perfection, or Cherry On Top.
