  1. Current Affairs - UK news coverage

In a hypocritical move, despite believing that the 'Off Topic' forum had its flaws, I really miss being able to talk about what's currently going on in the world.

    I think there's room for a...

    Re: General Lady GaGa Discussion

A more melodic 'Government Hooker' sound would be ideal for some of the ARTPOP tracks. It's like a more refined, clean, edgy RedOne sound, with a slight hip-hop influence. I think it would meld well...

Sticky: Re: The Rules are Back.

Should we make a 'Random Thoughts' thread in here?

I know it's hypocritical of me, considering I said 'Off Topic' felt mostly unnecessary. But, given the London machete attack, and the racism...

The top post on that website still excites me. I hope little has changed.

    Re: Damages

    What an awkward name.

This series was truly incredible. Patty Hewes was such a beautifully nuanced character.

I'm about to watch season 5 now. I've just finished season 4 and I think it might...

    I agree.

I only got chance to hear it a few times before work this morning, but I was sold by the backing vocals, incredible beat and joyous middle-eight. It's definitely too long though.

I totally just read that as 'bitch in charge' a la 'HBIC'.

Edit: seems IMHO noticed it too. How sneaky of Bey.

    Brilliant.

She looks so good with braids. Please bury the blonde weave for a while, Bey. I'm sick to death of it.

Adding to this, if they're going for a TLC inspired sound on some tracks, it would be nice if Lewis has tapped into the side of her that wrote tracks like 'Beg'. I'm totally expecting a ballad though.

    Re: Mutya/Keisha/Siobhan. We're waiting.

I think the tastemaker fashion mags are a good start. It sets a tone. I have zero doubt that Q and NME will be salivating all over them as soon as something more concrete is happening - they'll have...

I wonder if the Shaznay Lewis penned tracks will still be on the album.

Devastated that she's taken off the brown wig. I like the outfit though.

That photo of Ke$ha... There are no words.

    Re: General Lady GaGa Discussion

This is true. As much as we're revisionists on here to proclaim 'The Fame' as tripe (and unfairly so, I think), back in those days she was considered incredibly cool and universally loved. The sound...

    Re: Dawn Richard

This is great news. I was worried that the reunion of Danity Kane would result in this album not being finished/released. This is the release I've been most excited about from her.

Re: Kanye West - New Slaves (Single)

In the space of a day this has become my most eagerly anticipated release of the year, up there with Gaga and MKS. For some reason I'm always sceptical before a Kanye release. I think I fear that his...
