  1. Re: Gezza's Review of Every No 2 hit of the 80s

Oh God, 'Faith' the album is a brilliant album. A lot of it is very Prince influenced. 'I want your sex' especially, but 'Hard day's high pitched 'pretending to be a woman' vocal is very Prince. The...
  2. Re: Atomic Kitten, 5ive, B*Witched, 911, Honeyz and Liberty X to reunite for ITV2 series

I kind of agree with 911, they're a young group who seem to have split at the first sign of their megafame slipping and panicing and thinking it's time to end it all. They could easily do their own...
  3. Re: Gezza's Review of Every No 2 hit of the 80s

'You win again' is tremendous, but better than 'stayin' alive' or 'How deep is your love'? Nah.

    Re: General Girls Aloud Discussion

Any list of 'best b-sides' that doesn't include 'Dog without a bone' is null and void.
  5. Re: TV Shows Destroyed By A Single Departure

Dorothy leaving the Golden Girls and it becoming the Golden Palace. Killed it straight away.

    Re: General Doctor Who Discussion

They did that thing as well where they get a decent name (Tamsin Outhwaite) in for an episode and obviously only have a day to work with them or something and their role, which could have been really...
  8. Re: Top 100 Best Selling Singles Acts Of The 00s

From what I recall, 'Man in the mirror' didn't have any remixes or anything when it was released so there were no real incentives for the hardcore fans to buy it, hence the relative floppage.

    Re: General Doctor Who Discussion

It was good insofar as it made the cybermen potentially scary again, especially when the first cyberman ran really fast, that was really exciting. But again, all ended too quickly and simply.

    Re: Big Reunion Series 2

The next series is more of a 1.5 than a proper 'second series'. The next one is bound to be labelled 'The Big Reunion 2'.
  11. Re: Atomic Kitten, 5ive, B*Witched, 911, Honeyz and Liberty X to reunite for ITV2 series

It's all well and good being cynical, but it was a great live show seeing all those acts on one bill. Everyone involved (including the audience) is having a good time so why not?

    Re: Kylie Minogue - 12th Album (2013)

I'd say the problem began with her working with outside producers on 'Rythmn of love'. That's why 'Let's get to it' was so different, as she was keen to experiment and wanted to go more r'n'b that it...

    Re: General Madonna discussion

This isn't going to come out until Christmas is it? I bet Epix have a contract to show it for so long until it's released. Bugger,
  14. Re: Gezza's Review of Every No 2 hit of the 80s

Chris Lowe was really cute then though. In a 'ooh that binman is really cute, he can come collect my garbage any time he wants to' way. Nowadays, no. 'What have I done to deserve this?' is amazing....

Didn't Smash Hits used to call Spagna's hair a 'Frightwig'? Great song.

To me it sounds, bizarrely enough like 'Sweet child o' mine'

    Re: General Britney Spears Discussion

Did anyone see this week's 'New normal'? There was a song playing that sounded a bit like Goldfrapp's 'Strict machine' but the singer sounded like Britney, but I diden't recognise the song. Tried...
