  1. Re: Top 200 Best Selling Female Solo Hits of the 00s

Shockingly low sale for Slow considering it was a sure fire #1 lead single after the Fever era but I think sales in general were pitiful at the time. Weren't Orson #1 with 15,000 sales or something?

Re: Gezza's Review of Every No 2 hit of the 80s

I totally agree - found that this song grew on me in recent years but he did nothing much for me at the time also far prefer "If You Let Me Stay".

My favourite song of his is "Let Her Down Easy"...

Welcome to female pop in the 00s, where Party In The USA is considered a massive hit.
  6. Re: She Bop: Cyndi Lauper singles rate ... and then some

Nice to see Eric joining us with the Cyndi avatar.

Refreshing my memories of these songs. God the She Bop video is hideous.

Re: The Justin Bieber hate - Will it ever stop?

He's had one reasonable sized hit in the UK (Baby) and I've never heard anything else he's done. The amount of press he gets is rather disproprotionate. Is he massive in the US or something?

Re: What is going on with this forum...?

I've actually forgotten what the old Popjustice looked like now but remember thinking this one was hideously inefficient. Especially when you get random scrollbars showing up in every post. Does that...

    Re: I just bought...

I keep wanting to buy old A-ha CD singles but all their classic ones seem to be 3" so they slip down my priority list (unless they are japanese 3"ers).

Is it wrong that I'm very tempted to buy...

    Re: Belinda Carlisle

Well it only took her 23 years to work that one out after the "Summer Rain" being released in winter debacle.

Re: That's Entertainment - New UK Chain?

My local CEX no longer sells CDs.

The chance to find a random Betty Boo or Debbie Gibson CD for £1 was the only reason I ever went.

I guess they are making more than enough money reselling...

Re: What is going on with this forum...?

Why is everyone concerned about alleged "overshare" and private information. If someone wants to post a picture of themselves standing outside their house with their collected family and friends and...

    Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2013

So nothing to do with the fact she was a batshit crazy senile old crone who could barely hold a tune in a bucket.

She gave probably the worst vocal performance on the Eurovision stage I've ever...

Re: The Charts: Questions and Mysteries

Of course sometimes talk of deletion was a ploy to boost sales. I remember a LOT of media coverage about Wet Wet Wet deleting "Love Is All Around" after it had spent eons at #1 already. Pretty sure...
