Re: The Charts: Questions and Mysteries

What's even more mysterious about that is that what I thought was one of the biggest and most iconic singles groups of the 80s only had 9 top 10 hits, and within a relatively small time frame (around...

Re: Gezza's Review of Every No 2 hit of the 80s

It is strange that Faith didn't include A Different Corner and I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me) though. It was nice when Ladies & Gentlemen was released as it was the first time I'd owned those two...

That'll be Chaka Khan on helium.

Kanye's ok. I have The College Dropout and Late Registration but haven't bothered with any of his other albums. Both of those are overblown but have moments of...

But it was new to me. Was the original version released too? I couldn't see that on iTunes.

I'm surprised so many of you don't recall Crockett's Theme, do none of you remember it being featured in the often mocked Nat West ads?

Re: Goldroom - Only You Can Show Me

It could do with a verse or two - something more than just "only you can show me x 50", but it's nice enough.

Re: Top 100 Best Selling Singles Acts Of The 00s

They released relatively few singles from all of their albums, unlike Steps who had about 5 off each with a double A-side or two for good measure!

Re: Daft Punk - Random Access Memories

Discovery is a classic. I wouldn't say Human After All is. Unless you mean a classic failure to follow up a genuine classic.

Tube Stops is growing on me. It's still nowhere near as good as anything on Don't Stop or Anniemal but it's slowly making its way into my head.

Re: The Saturdays - Gentleman (2nd Single)

It just seems a bit forced and unnecessary. I'm sure they could have done it in their usual voices, and maybe thrown in some more UK hunk names at the end.

Re: The Saturdays - Gentleman (2nd Single)

They are singing with totally ridic American accents too. I know most UK popstars do anyway(apart from Lily Allen and Sophie E-B), but it's a bit extreme on this.

Re: The Saturdays - Gentleman (2nd Single)

It's an ok song but why is a gentleman so 1995 and a husband so 1999? And why are loads of the celebs they name at the end barely recognisable names in the UK?!

    Re: Prisoner Cell Block H

I'm waiting till it's on Channel 5 in the UK. I could watch it on YouTube but I'd rather see it on a bigger screen.
