Kiss Me is quite possibly the classiest(?) song about the morning after. Take You Home is its menacing prequel.
I am convinced of this.
I love Kiss Me. It's easily one of my top 5.
I'm not quite sure what the consensus on this album is, but I quite enjoy Something That We're Not.
That's it really.
And rightfully so - tastemakers etc.
Plays Tubestops And Lonely Hearts (promo is promo).
Definitely.
As fans of pop music, we ought to know better than to believe everything we're told.
I'm not quite sure what the arguments this are (other than it being too reactionary? for some people - what does that even mean?), but Daft Punk have put together a great album.
Several spins...
You're not as good - but I agree.
I knew someone would see that. I know she does, its obvious after all; but there's always some sort of wink to go along and there was no fun to be had during the era. It just felt like she was going...
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Let me join those in praising Contact. It's stellar.
Other standouts include Give Life Back To Music, Giorgio By Moroder, Instant Crush, Lose Yourself To Dance, Get Lucky (single edit of course -...
This is exactly what I've been trying to say all along (but failed miserably so). Let's face it, Confessions and Hard Candy aren't that great. The first is a gay disco romp (nothing wrong with that -...
WHAT A FUCKING TUNE.
They quite literally picked up just where LDC Soundsystem left off. Also, it's on iTunes (yes!).
That's brilliant stuff right there.
They've got 3 small EP's: Beginnings, Capital Cities (originally titled Safe And Sound), and Kangaroo Court/New Town Crier.
The latter was pulled off iTunes late last year after Safe And Sound...
The second single perhaps?
I will forever "stan" for the I Love New York demo. It has all of the attitude Confessions and Hard Candy were missing (except Give It 2 Me of course) and MDNA has in spades.
I'm in love with...
Not to start a list of lists, but my Madonna Top 4 couldn't be more different. It goes:
1. Like A Prayer
2. Vogue
3. Don't Tell Me
4. Hung Up
That second picture! SO. MUCH. FUCKING. REALNESS.
I love this woman.
