I do genuinely think that your taste in music is generally very dependent upon the era in which you grew up/came of age. I have a distinct recollection of my dad saying how shit he thought the likes...
Precisely. There was still some excellent music to be had in the noughties. It's just wasn't usually on the radio or in the charts so you had to dig a little deeper. In the noughties, chart music was...
Oh dear. To me, there is a definite implication here that "anyone who doesn't like rap and hip hop is racist".
I have absolutely no recollection of his raps whatsoever. The rest of the song I remember note-for-note.
And I doubt I'd feel I'm missing out. As a general rule, I'm quite averse to rap and hip...
I honestly could not name any Kanye songs besides American Boy (which isn't really a Kanye song anyway!!!)
Broken Record is much more representative of the album, so maybe that's why it was lead single. From a purely subjective point-of-view, I think it's a much better song as well!
I mentioned...
Oh yes. I think I blocked that atrocity out!!!
Highlights for me were Shake, Earthquake, Remedy, New In Town, Headphones and especially Broken Record which was just amazing.
Well she was pretty great last night. Opened with Motorway, encore of All For You (Acoustic), Remedy and Shake. From what I remember, other than Remedy, she only did Earthquake, New In Town and Stuck...

I'm going to see her tomorrow night in Manchester. Rather excited!!!
Haha...I knew I get in bother for that! Still, it's always heartwarming when people lie to spare the feelings of others...!
Haha yes, I shall surely get a berating for that! Doesn't stop it being true though...!!!
Seriously?! Annie has the most paper thin, pathetic voice in pop!
The second time I have agreed with you today!
My Royksopp playlist. Currently on Poor Leno!
Currently Motorway, Shake (which I didn't like at all prior to the album version), Every Night, All For You and (the still brilliant) Broken Record are my favourites. Crescendo and Satellites are...
Bloody hell, but do I despise Peter Kay! Smug fucker.
Love me a bit of Shakira so glad to see her here, although most of my favourite Shakky songs were never singles in the UK!
Nelly has done...
I was just going to post something similar. It's the sort of thing I normally detest, but I found myself really rather enjoying it!
Having only had a preliminary listen, the only song I didn't instantly like was Confusion, and Beat Beat's only moderate. The rest, however, sounded pretty damn good to me. Just having my first...
