Brittany Murphy just posted a blog on her official music myspace that she's in the studio working with Paul Oakenfold, Max Martin, and Timbaland. She also said the album should be out this year.

I'm quite excited, really. I think her voice is IMMENSE and extremely powerful and dynamic so I can't wait to here what she delivers. Faster Kill Pussycat was one of the best records of that year.

Wasn't it supposed to be coming out last year?  I have been holding my breath since then god dammit!  Faster Pussycat came on at the club the other night and it just made me remember how crazily in love with it I was.  Now let's get a whole album of it already!

Good point!  It does seem like that.  She hasn't done anything memorable since Sin City (and she wasn't pivotal in that.. just gorgeous), but yah,  they are going to have to top Pussycat to bring attention back on her.

I can't wait. I can just tell from both the song and video for Pussycat that she'll make an awesome pop star. She's got a brilliant voice, she's hot and has a quirky personality.

I was just talking about her the other day when myself and some friends were listening to Faster Kill Pussycat, this albums sounds mighty, mighty promising. Damn sight more interested in this than the ScarJo album anyway!
