Howdy!
It helps if you have your avatar uploaded onto another website (Photobucket, Tinypic, etc.).
When you have that, go to Profile (at the top of the screen), then on the left side click where it says 'Modify Profile - Forum Profile Information.'
Right at the top it should say: 'You can change your personal information on this page. This information will be displayed throughout Popjustice. If you aren't comfortable with sharing some information, simply skip it - nothing here is required.'
Then you click the radio button next to 'I have my own pic: Specify your own avatar by URL. (ex:
http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif)' -- and paste the URL in the box.
Finally, click 'Change Profile' button at the bottom of screen... you should be set!
