The Fourth Kind is an upcoming science fiction/thriller/horror film directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, and starring Milla Jovovich. The film is purported to be a documentary reenactment set in Nome, Alaska, and deals with alien abductions. The title is derived from J. Allen Hynek's classification of close encounters with aliens, in which the fourth kind denotes an alien abduction.



Is anyone planning to see it? Has anyone seen it?

I love Milla, but I have absolutely zero interest in alien encounter stories (even Close Encounters, outstanding though it is, is a movie I've only ever been able to sit through three times in my life) so I may consider renting it one day, but that's about it.

The trailer didn't excite me. It showed people undergoing therapy and remembering alien abduction, and I just wasn't thrilled. It's not a very exciting topic.

Watched this last night, it gets a big, fat "WHAT?!" from me. It had supposedly 'real' footage played (sometimes) alongside side actors portrayals of alien abductions, and the tapes mysteriously became blurry of would switch off during the important parts......funny that......

Good point: you never saw an 'alien'
