BEFORE YOU FILL IN THIS FORM
We often hear from people who are keen to write for Popjustice. About two thirds of these people aren’t really big fans of pop. They have a passion for music and they love writing about it, and they like Marina & The Diamonds and Lykke Li and lots of pop-music-for-people-who-don’t-like-pop-music but you’ll look on their Facebook page, or you’ll have a look at their Twitter timeline, and you’ll see the stuff they listen to day in day out would make them more suited for writing for Drowned In Sound or The Line Of Best Fit or whatever. They can be brilliant writers but it doesn’t really work if their musical tastes skirt around the outside of pop.
