The axis of popjustice: In shops this week

Notes on this week’s Axis Of Popjustice:

    * Somewhere on the internet there’s an amazing interview with Shayne Ward where he’s going on about the fact that pop can make a return to the charts and so on, and that all it needs is decent songs. YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT UP.

    * We’re not really holding our breaths for a Top 10 chart smash for Lorraine this week, but ‘I Feel It’ is a triumph and Lorraine are amazing. Don’t just take our word for it!

'The greatest single of 2006' — Time Out
'Very simply, the perfect pop group' — Attitude
'A succulent, moving, electropop masterpiece' – Word

See? ‘All those different people’ are behind The Rraine too! It’s ‘not just us’! Plus, as Ole from the band informed us when Lorraine popped into Club Popjustice last week: "I spend all my money on the best wine and the best haircuts."

    * That Filterfunk single is absolutely fucking terrible.
