It’s urinal countdown
Dan from Dragonette sent us this video over the weekend. The music on it is the instrumental from one of their new tracks (which as you can tell sounds like it could be really rather good), and the visuals are… Well, we’re not going to lie to you viewers, the visuals are all about piss. Drinking it, throwing it over your face, that sort of thing.
We are sure these are not the actions of a band having some sort of
collective nervous breakdown. We are sure Dragonette know what
they are doing. Do not panic.
The group’s debut album is one of our favourites in the nine-year history of Popjustice so we are very much looking forward to the their re-emergence in 2009. If you haven’t been glued to your YouTube subscriptions over the last couple of months you might have missed the occasional snippet of new Dragonette stuff but here, for example, is the band performing a new song called ‘Gone Too Far’.
(That one probably needs a bit of work.)
