The dream
"All Saints produced by Chase & Status."
The reality
Atomic Kitten produced by Cannon & Ball. We jest, readers, we jest. Their free-to-download song 'Eon' marks a new-ish sound and literally does bring to mind All Saints produced by Chase & Status in that it starts off like an All Saints song before a massive dubstep gloomwobble changes the whole thing. It's a combination that works quite well, and it's so directed towards the Radio One playlist that it might as well have 'FAO Fearne Cotton (keep listening until about half way through when the obligatory breakdown appears)' stamped on it. We will gloss over the fact that the band are not exactly 'new' new, having done some unspeakable things in 2009. Mind you, didn't we all?
Let's hear something then

The Unfair Advantage
They're signed to the 'Crown Talent & Media Group' who also deal with the likes of Jessie J (definite advantage) and the Sugababes (hm...).
The Job Interview
Why do you want this job?
Tahnee: Our country need us. It's our duty and we are happy to oblige.
Describe a situation where you worked in a team.
Claire: Every day is a team effort - singing together, performing together, writing and recording...
What do you expect to be doing in five years' time?
Tahnee: Still going strong with a few more Grammys and Brits under our belt.
Katiya: Hopefully I won't have succumbed to the surgeon's knife, but never say never! (?!)
What are your weaknesses?
Bryony: Where one band member has a weakness the other has a strength we have it pretty much covered.
Tahnee: Together we are like Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way.
Claire: Actually Bryony has a bit of a dodgy finger. Is that a weakness? She can't grip like she used to.
What are your strengths?
Katiya: We make an amazing beetroot, orange and chocolate cake... Would you like some? No?
What has been your greatest achievement?
Bryony: We randomly got a feature in Mexican GQ. We don't know how it happened but it felt good anyway.
How good are they out of a million?
635, 241
